1.  Is Baptist Basics University really a university?

No.  It is just a shorter name than, say, "Baptist Basics School for Biblical Learning and Ministry Enhancement". There is no campus, no president, no state tax dollars.  There are just free online Bible courses.

2.  Is Baptist Basics University a diploma mill?

Absolutely not!  You'd have to offer diplomas to be a diploma mill! Baptist Basics University is an online training resource for Christian leaders and laymen. I have contemplated doing some type of a certificate system in the past, and may implement something like that in the future when more courses are ready. There are no plans and absolutely no intentions of making this into a "real" college.

3.  Do you receive college credit for these courses?

No, you will not receive an academic advancement based upon your completion of any of the courses offered here. In fact, these courses will not be structured according to the standard college credit hour system to discourage this misconception. You will hopefully be intellectually stimulated and spiritually stirred, but not given a shortcut to a degree.

4.  How much does this all cost?

For you, nothing outside of your computer and internet connection. Baptist Basics University is just an opportunity for you to deepen your understanding of the Bible and Christianity.

5.  How are these courses structured?

The current courses are based on listening to lectures and reading notes. Maybe someday some more work will be involved on the student's end, but right now just listen, read, and enjoy!

6.  Can you recommend a good Bible college?

At this present time I am refraining from giving any type of open endorsements. It is really a risk in some ways because of how institutions and people change. This is something you need to find God's will about.
